Cattle on site again

Tuesday 11 August

Mick telephoned this morning to say that the bullocks had broken into the site again. This is very worrying: we can’t have them trampling sensitive deposits, so we need to find a more effective way of keeping them out. If not, we will have to abandon the site and backfill the trench: I’m not prepared to see a site damaged unnecessarily by rampaging livestock!

What a nuisance. Is there money available to erect a second fence i.e. make a double enclosure?

  2. The committee will meet tomorrow to discuss this problem…thank you for your comment!!
