A defiant bullock

Weather sunny spells

On site: a herd of bullocks

At some point, an unauthorised visitor has entered the site and left the gate open. As a result, our “neighbours”, the bullocks with whom we share the field, came on to the site. They have not been happy about losing their shady corner since we fenced it off two weeks ago. At last, they saw their chance for revenge and invaded.

Thanks to Greg Hobbs’ alertness and the way we all now carry mobile ’phones, Bob Lancaster was able to get down to the site and chase them off. We now have a padlock on the gate…
